About Us.

Our Restaurant Is A Collective Of Amazing People Striving To Build Delightful Home Style Cuisine.
Did you know that 200 North Family Restaurant’s story goes back more than 50 years?
It all started in 1974 and is rooted in the hard work, dedication, and hospitality of George Bacogeorge and Gus Drosinis. In 1980, they took over ownership of the beloved Gus’s Sir Beef in Charlotte, where they spent years serving great food and creating lasting memories for generations of families. In 1999, they continued that tradition by opening Crown Point Family Restaurant, carrying forward the same commitment to quality, community, and treating every guest like family.
Today, that legacy lives on through their sons, Jimmy Bacogeorge and Nick Drosinis, at 200 North Family Restaurant. Family restaurants like ours are a special part of Charlotte’s dining culture, preserving recipes, traditions, and relationships that have been passed down through multiple generations.
We’re grateful for the families, friends, and loyal customers who have supported us throughout the years. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your memories, your celebrations, and your everyday moments around the table.
